“I had a great time over the weekend on the Meditation Workshop. Vajradaka has the mark of the great teacher - he left me feeling confident that I had some ability in meditation myself, whilst opening out great vistas of ways in which I can improve my practise and communication. An inspiring event” David, Ipswich
“I enjoyed the weekend, your style of teaching and facilitation and have a very useful foundation on which to base any teaching I do in the future.”
Chris, London
I took part in three workshops about communicating meditation with Vajradaka and Maitrivajri in winter 2007. After attending them I dreamt that I opened
a prison gate from within and realised that although it was open now I could
still not make a single step on the outside. I was held by some invisible
gravitation-like force inside the jail. However, I tried another door and
this was the right one. On reflection this is what the workshops were about
for me - learning and helping others to learn about the doors, gates and
walls of the mind and how to be free. Nityabandhu, Birmingham

I have attended a recent meditation teachers’ weekend with Vajradaka and found him to be a very confident, relaxed and inspiring teacher. I particularly appreciated the way he started from where the workshop participants were and developed the emerging ideas in a creative way, rather than imposing a pre-prepared package of training. He took us back to asking ourselves what were the vital principles of meditation we wanted to communicate in a teaching situation, and encouraged us to let any specific activities and exercises grow out of that. The workshop itself put this method into practice so that the medium and the message matched up most elegantly. Alongside his obviously high level of skill and longstanding experience in teaching groups of people, I have also found Vajradaka a friendly and approachable person with a genuine openness towards others. Throughout the meditation workshop I attended recently, I was touched by Vajradaka’s sensitivity and responsiveness, as well as his ability to get to the ‘heart’ of the topic we were exploring. My sense was of a person of great integrity and self-awareness - and of someone who is very skilled at communicating the essence of meditation. I gained a great deal through the weekend, which was as much like a retreat with friends. Vajradaka’s spirit is kindly and wise, and there is a great deal of warmth and experience in his approach. I’ll certainly be attending more of these excellent workshops in the future, and would fully recommend them. Rob

I have attended numerous workshops and meditation teachers’ forums which Vajradaka has led. One thing I would emphasise is that when I ask questions about meditation or discuss my own practice, he seems to be able respond from a real place of depth, connectedness and understanding which helps to bring about important developments and deepening in my practice. A deeply intuitive and kind man. As a teacher I’ve experienced Vajradaka to be very encouraging to me and others in the groups that I have been in with him - giving the gift of confidence in the teachings which clearly springs from his experience. I really appreciate his capacity to be authentic and true which is strengthening. He communicates the heart of practice with imagination and ease - I am learning a lot through his interesting perspectives and practical teaching methods. Thanks. AM
